You did it again.

You chose the path of pleasure instead of discipline.

How do you feel?

I wrote almost exactly a year from today about how I feel about my relationship and pleasure and I think it really translates a powerful lesson.

^{The pursuit of pleasure is an action that contradicts itself in so many ways.} 

When you pursue pleasure you arrive at the destination only pleasured in the moment.

You are either left feeling guilty or unsatisfied right after getting what you thought you wanted. 

Sometimes we can trick ourselves into believing that what we seek is a physical thing, that we are going to get something. 

Even if you acquire the item that you seek, the consumption of it still leaves you wanting more. 

There wouldn't be enough items on the planet to wholy satisfy your desire because the thing you truly seek is a feeling.

It is a certain energy that brings you to irrational means to obtain and sometimes maintain that feeling only to be left either wanting more or wondering why you wanted it in the first place, because the feeling you have now is anything but pleasurable. 

The pursuit of pleasure is really the circle of suffering. 

An endless loop that when participated in leaves you at the same point in which you started. 

However, there is hope because knowing this truth of pleasure leaves an alternative.

An alternative to suffering, which is just a more rewarding form of suffering, called discipline. 

When You feel the pull of pleasure, realize that you are at a fork in a road where both paths include some form of suffering, but only one leads to victory. 

You should always do whatever WILL RESULT in you feeling good.

Things that make you feel good as a result dont always feel good in the moment of execution.

You are the one who makes the choices. 

You are the master of your thoughts. 

You have created your reality your whole life.

The fun part?

There’s nothing that can’t be different if you choose.

Victory is yours if you want it.

Stop stopping things from happening.

Be ready to receive in any moment,

But also ready to give impeccably.
