When you speak, Do people listen?

the words that come out of your mouth, anytime they come out of your mouth have the potential to make people think.

Or, make people think your an idiot 😂

When I was growing up I was always told to use my head before thinking, it didn't work.

All it did to me was make me self conscious about everything I said.

Not only did I make people think I was an idiot, but I would label myself as one before the words even came out of my mouth!

In your world You must see yourself as intelligent but if it's hard for you to believe that then think of yourself as someone who is a learner. A grower. A listener

Reading, playing vocab games, and looking up words when you don't understand their meaning, but most importantly, being authentic with your words and yes, thinking before you say things.

These are some of the things you can do to make people say

“Every time he opens his mouth a pearl falls out”

You go from always being the listener.

To the always being listened to.

So what can you do about it?

1. Don’t speak just to fill empty space.

2. Only use words that you understand the meaning of.

3. Speak with conviction when talking about something you care about or when your teaching something.

I know that if you start with these simple principles, you will become the person everyone wants to listen to.
